During our recent family Christmas getaway, we found ourselves enchanted by the charm of Hotel Altes Brauhaus Garni in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Just a short walk from the lively historic market square, this cozy family-run hotel is a stone's throw from the town's famous photo spots, making it an ideal home base for exploring. The spacious family room was a huge hit with my kids, allowing us to spread out comfortably with separation between the sleeping areas and our little sitting space-a treat especially during the festive hustle. Each morning, we were greeted with a delightful breakfast buffet that truly gave us the energy we needed for our adventures; I particularly enjoyed the rich local cheeses! What stood out the most, however, was the warm hospitality of the staff. They treated us like family, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The quaint lobby area was perfect for unwinding after our day of sightseeing, where we could share stories over a glass of Franconian wine. With its charming ambiance, thoughtful amenities, and perfect location, I can wholeheartedly say that Hotel Altes Brauhaus Garni has secured a special place in our family's travel memories. I look forward to our next visit to this Bavarian gem!
